She knew it was her true calling when the leads started pouring in and the contacts became real people. Bring it on! Energized by the possibilities, awed by the immediacy of the new technology and stoked by her very, very, very helpful co-workers and mentors, she felt like she'd come home. Which of course indeed she had.
Meeting with a potential first time home buyer, she presented the First time Homebuyer Tax Credit plan, as well as a few financing options and encouragement to take this life changing step now while the market was in the buyers favor.
Her first time making this presentation, and she knew that it was most important to impart to this client the hope for a bright future in a home of her own. To be an allowed and even to be a necessary part of this amazing transition would be a blessing for her, so when her homebuyer remarked that it seemed as if she'd been in the real estate business forever it touched her heart in a strong way.
In a sense she had been in the business for a long, long time with her legacy from her mother, and she knew that the responsibilty to stand behind all she said was tremendous. As an agent of change and a servant of the Lord all she wanted was to be the best at both of these callings. Looking up she thanked God and winked at Mom. I'm doing it, ma, I'm doing it!
